JTW is a well-established homeware producer based in Los Angeles, California, with over 15 years of experience sourcing and crafting furniture and interior design products for a broad range of clients that include West Elm and Pottery Barn. JTW experienced significant disruption with their Asia supply chain during the pandemic and was looking to on-shore production and sourcing to meet their client needs.
I played a central role in this project, spearheading the expansion into Mexico while collaborating closely with the US team. My responsibilities involved sourcing and developing products from different materials such as semi-precious stone, wood, glass, ceramic, pottery, and more, tailored to the preferences of their United States clientele.
As part of my consulting services for the supply chain in Mexico, I provided valuable assistance in several key areas:
Project Planning: Developing comprehensive plans for each supplier, encompassing pricing, payment terms, quality control procedures, packaging, and lead and production schedules.

Product Development: Structuring product development processes to ensure efficiency and excellence in crafting new items.

Quality Control & Packaging: Conducting meticulous checks to maintain high-quality standards and suitable packaging for shipments.
